Isaac Lai studies Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Hong Kong.  His works mostly focus on 2D animation and motion graphics. His animation short film “Hachi” (2019) was being screened in the lighthouse international charity film festival. Also, his illustration “Dancing in the Moonlight” (illustration) was exhibited at Formia (LT) Lazio–Italy (2017 Dec).

      Lai was born and grew up in Hong Kong in 1997. He was a green animator and visual artist. He is very passionate about Animation since he was a kid. 

 

In 2016, he entered Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) after his DSE result was released. He had spent one semester studying visual arts in HKBU. 

 

Yet, HKBU did not offer any courses that is related to animation. In order to pursue his Animation dream, he therefore made a big decision in his life, quitting his university life in HKBU and changed his pathway to another art school which is SCAD also known as Savannah College of Art and Design. In January, the year of 2017, he started to develop his creative career in SCAD. He is now a current student of SCAD majoring Animation and minoring Graphic design.
